On initial thought, I was wondering about the scammers’ goal for taking over a YouTube account. Then I remember that many YouTube accounts are now linked to user’s Google Account, which provides access to GMail among others.

So, everyone needs to be diligent and be careful when receiving instructions via email or through proprietary messaging system, asking you to provide username and password or means of authenticating your identity. In most cases, legitimate web sites will never ask for a user’s password. Remember bad guys are everywhere, especially on the Interweb.

My 3 Minutes of Fame

Today, while walking through a local Fortress store (appliance store), I noticed something very familiar on a promotion television for a DeLonghi Espresso coffee maker display. They were replaying continuously the video that I had posted on YouTube, which thus far viewed by 270 thousand people.

What SUN is up to

The attached video shows what SUN OS R&D is thinking about.

Please note that this is not about OS war or comparing how great one OS over the other. Or whether one OS copied another.

Do note that this SUN OS experiment was done well before Mac OS X had its public beta and long before Microsoft “Longhorn” (aka. Windows Vista) was even a project.

My personal preference and computing tool of choice is Mac OS and had been for the past 21.5 years.

Ferrari 275 GTB in Paris, 1978

Totally incredible… take a look at the following video and you will understand what I mean. It really shows how crazy a Formula 1 driver can be and how precise their driving are. Given that it is a multi dollar Ferrari makes it that much more exciting.

But in actual fact it was done by the director in his Mercedes and the F1 engine sound effect was overlaid post production.
