Finally got a chance to try Hikiniku to Kome in HK. Did not get one of those precious reservations, so had to wait for a walk in under 34C heat. Fortunately the mention of 1.5-2 hours wait scared away 8 people in front of us There is only a HK138 set on the menu which includes: at most three 90g hamburger meat balls, miso soup and unlimited refill of rice. My favourite way to eat the hamburger meat is with the Japanese Pepper Sauce. For extra charge you can add more meat or their Kimchi. Is it worth the 1-hour wait? Not really. Make a reservation if you can and enjoy the friendly (max 1 hour) experience. Or wait for a cooler weather.
