The new "Taipei 101" took the title of the "World's Tallest Building" from the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with its 101 stories.
The title of "tallest building in the world" may not be bestowed on Taipei 101 for too long, Shanghai World Financial Center becking at its tail by 2007.
Also the new "Freedom Tower" in New York City to replace the World Trade Center after the September 11 incident.
